Posing for the Nordkapp picture on my solo trip there (Jan. 2002) was challenging. Having no other people around and no tripod either, I had to improvise by trying to get my camera staying upright on my backpack, but strong winds kept knocking down my camera till I finally - ages later - succeeded in taking this photo. The misty, indistinct mass on the left is the Barents Sea of the Arctic Ocean - the next substantial piece of land in this direction is the Spitsbergen (Svalbard) archipelago.
